Three Kings in FOX's Top 50
LeBron James gets the top nod over Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant in FOX's Top 50 list.
Ron Artest comes in at #26 - one spot behind Ben Wallace and ahead of Richard Jefferson, Tony Parker, and Chris Paul.
Mike Bibby comes in at #43 and Brad Miller followed at #44.And in case you care, Chris Webber placed at #34 (which is ridiculous, on far too many levels to even discuss) and Peja Stojakovic came in at #48 (which is about right).
These lists are always arbritrary, so give it how much ever value you think you need to.

Re: Three Kings in FOX's Top 50
The one that really stood out to me was Gasol at 50. I just don't think that there are 49 others guys that have the same or more of an impact on a game as he does.
TZ, what was your gripe with Webber's placement? How many other 20 and 10 guys are there? And his skills are still superb. Now, his defense really, really, really sucks. But, the guys is still effective offensively. I still think he is a top 50 guy. (He would be behind Gasol for me.)

Re: Three Kings in FOX's Top 50
He's still a good rebounder and a terrific passer, and he can create his own offense (which some guys can't do). But there are 60-70 players better than him in the league when you account his horrible shooting percentages and godawful defense.
And Gasol suffered, I think, because the list claims to offer who 2007's best players will be. Gasol might be top 20 - I think he was a dark horse MVP candidate last season. (Maybe the 6th or 7th most valuable guy? LBJ, Kobe, Nash, Dirk, Brand definitely all ahead... possibly Gil and Wade as well.)

(Still love your sweet jumper Peja, but clutch dude you are not, nor is sleepy Al.I'd rate K-mart ahead of Al Harrington).

Re: Three Kings in FOX's Top 50
One thing I noticed in the few Philly games I saw last year was that Webber touched the ball so little (compared to AI) that when he got it he inevitably was shooting it. Not enough balls on that team.
