Around SBN: The Ten Worst Swings Of The 2011 Season

Nonvomitous

This isn't one of those season-turning wins, mostly because Philadelphia is ass and the real big games are to come.

But that win sure is a nice relief, eh?

Bonus points to Kevin Martin, throwing up amid a gutty performance. That's more of an NFL gimmick than NBA, but Speed held down the flu-spew long enough to put up 18 points on, yes, 8 shots.

And yes, that was Mike Bibby shooting over 50 percent in a game for the first time this season. Can he keep it up?

Here are the full postgame numbers:

Name      Min  Pts Shots WinScore GmScore  +/-
Artest     34   10  12.9       13     9.9   16
Thomas     26    8     7       16     9.6    8
Miller     31   13  12.9       18    10.7   10
Martin     22   18  10.2     18.5    15.8    3
Bibby      32   21  15.9       23      19   14
Salmons    26    7   5.8       16     9.2   20
Douby      12    3     5      1.5    -0.2    4
Williamson 20   10   6.5     13.5     9.1   18
Taylor      9    2     2        3     0.8    7
Garcia     22    6     6        8     4.8   22
Price       3    0     2        0    -1.4    1
Hart        3    3     1        3       3    2

Yay, Maurice Taylor doubled his season points total!

Re: Nonvomitous
Actually, it was a pretty boring game. If they had lost that one they should give it up. Webber looked particularly pathetic. Actually, Bibby didn't really do that great. It was just by comparison with what he has been doing that it looked good. Plus you have to consider the other teams defense.

Yes...but.....
I really have to give high kudos to K-Mart.It's so hard to perform with high energy like that when you're rally sick. I remember doing a  New year's Eve club gig till 1:00am with a Stockton's Latin magic when I had the flu like that. When I felt the heave coming; I'd duck my head under my keyboard so no-one could see the heave-ho.Disgusting & draining way to earn a coule 'C' notes.

I feel sorry for C-Webb:he's a shadow of his former self. & I have to admit, I liked seeing Ron Ron penetrate & kick it out for others to take outside shots.
