"We want a defensive minded coach."

So Joe and Gavin want a defensive minded coach.  Rick really has a good point.  Was he a different coach the last 3-4 years after DC, Hedo, and Jimmy Jackson were sent packing.  The 2002/03 team had the best opponents FG in the NBA.  Want a defensive team, provide that type of player.  I feel its a classic example of a meddling owner.  A form of George "The Boss" - west coast version.  Is our perimeter defense (Bibby) and interior defense and shot blockinig (Miller) going to magically get better with a new coach?  The Maloofs may be really good at running Casinos, beer companies, AM PM Mini Marts, Etc.  But leave the running of the Kings to GP.  Which leads to my question....Who (in your opinion) has been the most meddling coach in Pro Sports?

A list of five head coaching candidates is supposed to be on the table for the Kings by tomorrow with a decision next week.
