I dont if my fellow Kings fans feel the same way as I do, but I feel that having Chris Wilcox in Sacramento makes so much sense. For the following reasons:

1. The NBA is transitioning to a much faster paced game where athleticism is a must. Just look at how Dallas beat San Antonio last year.
2. Chris has astounding rebounding skills and would help dramatically along with the improved agility of Brad, look for them to be a devastating combo.
3. His length and athleticism could allow Wilcox to become a very good defender like Kenyon Martin was.
4. Chris Wilcox is so young and will be approaching the his prime when his contract is almost over. He is only two years older than Lebron and has already played 4 seasons in the league.

Some sign and trade scenarios would have to include Francisco Garcia and either Corliss (expiring), Abdur-Rahim or Kenny Thomas. Nothing against Garcia but, he may very likely turn out and become a bust. Garcia is about 24-25 years old and still very inconsistent and erratic.

I think Wilcox under the intense coaching and style Musselman has in place will flourish and become an all-star. I truly believe that and I hope Geoff Petrie is reading this right now because I dont want to tell people "I told you so. "
