Kenny Thomas, Nice Guy

He didn't even scowl at anyone. Of course, among the dozens of pictures I took at media day, Kenny Thomas' came out by far the best.

Oh, and: Brad Miller is skinny. Like Spencer Hawes skinny. I think that'll be the focus of all accounts out of today, as well as the next 30 days of TV commentary from Jerry Reynolds.

More in the morning. I've got a Geoff Petrie interview to transcribe.

Well a skinny Brad is better than a fat Brad but a buff Brad would beat both.

Well, at least there is a better chance he'll get up and down the court. However, is it possible that perhaps the worst post defending center in the league will be even worse without the extra weight?

Or does the loss of weight mean that Brad will be playing the position he ought to play: PF?

I don't care what kind of Brad we have, I just want the old rebounding and assist machine Brad back.

Where is the 15,10 and 5 again??? That Brad would make us contenders for a playoff spot. A mentally sane Ron and a productive Mike would also help too. Not to mention, an even more improved Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia and Quincy Douby.

Time to blow 'em up, boyz.

I'm having flashbacks to the news that Bibby had worked hard to add muscle and bulk up prior to last season. Sounds like Brad and Mike have gotten their conditioning wires crossed.

Sure hope Kenny doesn't pickup that small lad, or he is sure to end up dropped on the floor with a cracked skull. That kid will end up being Kenny's first turnover of the year.
