Tuesday Footnotes
- Holy sh*t, the NBA season is here!
- The Bee did its grand preview today. In order of import: Sam Amick sets the stakes for Reggie Theus while making us hungry for pancakes, there's a snazzy audio slideshow thingamajig, Amick talks about how excited Orien Greene is for the opportunity, Scott Howard-Cooper surveys the NBA, Marty McNeal endorses the Reggie Theus regime, Ailene Voisin gets back to not being particularly lucid (or convincing), and half the staff predicts a Phoenix title.
- I don't have a subscription to Sports Business Daily, but I've been told Sactown Royalty came in at #5 on this list of the Top 10 NBA Blogs. Fellow SportsBlogs Nation sites Blazers Edge, Bullets Forever and (of course) Golden State of Mind make the cut, too.
- When you look at everything that enters the equation, Peja Stojakovic might as well be climbing Everest.
- If you rely on TiVo to record those early starts (of which the opener on Wednesday is one), you might notice the Kings game isn't showing up. Rest assured it's on News10 at 5 p.m. locally.
- Finally, a brilliant Hang Time related joke.
- Statgeekism: Knickerblogger has about the most direct breakdown of advanced basketball metrics possible, while 82games gets super-complex with a new set of adjusted plus-minus ratings. We'll discuss why Kevin Martin fares poorly in plus-minus ratings at some point in the near future.
- Basketbloggers seems at least a little realistic w/r/t their favorite teams this year.
- Tim Duncan is incredible.

Re: Tuesday Footnotes
I sure would like it if Adelman's crew gave Phil Jackson and co. a thumping tonight.
SACTOWN ROYALTY - Try our thick creamy shakes!
Re: Tuesday Footnotes
Nice linkage. Particularily enjoyed the Voisin dig (they're so easy aren't they) and the forgettable NBA preview of the bee. I also enjoyed the "we rite good" preview too.
