I'm looking forward to this game for a multitude of reasons:

Should be a festival of scoring.
Should be in high-def (Channel 10 right?)
I should actually be able to watch the game now that all the out-of-town relatives have gone home from Thanksgiving.

One con though, the game is pre-empting "Shrek the Halls", which my 4 year-old daughter has been geeked up about for three weeks.

Maybe I'll let the wifey break the news to her tonight.

Oh-oh. That light at the end of the tunnel is actually a Warrior train? Kinda like how the Suns ran the Kings to death? I guess that's how the Warriors beat the Suns last Monday. They out sunned the Suns.

The Kings lack of foot speed getting back on defense will once again prove to be their undoing, I think. They know what to expect but are physically unable to do anything about it. This is the Kings' achilles heal.

True, just as the achilies heel for the Dubs is a team with bigs (and their own FT shooting). Regardless, it'll be a good game and it will be an interesting side note to see which team has more fans in the stands. WE BELIEVE.......!!!!!!!!!!

I think tonight will be about Kevin Martin's re-emergence as a primary scorer, to the extent that it can, and how that will play out will bear out the different in who wins & loses tonight game. If the Kings can figure out a way to break efficiently, and intelligently, I think they will break the Warriors down alot defensively. Other than that I think seeing a minimal Artest scoring offense will suit the team well tonight. Maybe it's just me.

I feel like baron is just gonna destroy us tonight, and barnes will find a way to do that as well. Jax will hit at least 5 threes. But perhaps the Warriors defensive problems will allow a # of our players to gain some confidence for the future? I'm thinking a big game from Salmons tonight, and maybe cisco.

Some more things that I think are important: Garcia running the offense and letting others score. Ditto with Udrih. Keeping things simple and letting players get open before you rush things and do too much. And hope they do it for 40 mins tonight. If they can there is no way Golden State, with all their abilities, can match it.

I hope Douby has a big game again this year vs the Dubs. It would be nice if it came @ arco.

Watching Rockets Suns and listening to Kings

Bill Worrell does the play-by-play with Clyde Drexler doing the color. They used to have Calvin Murphy but he had to quit because 5 of his like 13 daughters accused him of sexual abuse. After, they experimented with Matt Bullard. He went fast.

Stevie Franchise is playing very well. Lots of assists and good shooting. A surprise indeed/

On a side note I miss Calvin Murphy's suits and commentary. If you think I'm anti-PC Calvin was the leader in that department (besides being a jackass bigot and everything else). You have to give the man credit. He's the only person I have ever seen pull off a turquoise suit.

Martin has 28 on 8-18 shooting and 7 boards, and he's taken the 3rd most shots for the Kings. Artest is 7/20 Beno is 7/18.

I guess my final point of anaylsis is this: You have one of the league's leading scorers score almost 20 pts in the first half. Kevin Martin doesn't even become involved in the offense. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Reggie Theus MUST MUST MUST make it an emphasis to run Kevin sets. Every team in the league knows that Ron Artest is rugged. They also know that when he shoots so much he's taking Kevin out of the game. It gives them a much better shot to win the game.

Very disappointing loss for the Kings after the stellar performance vs. San Antonio.

Kings go 2-23!!!! against the Warriors in the 4th quarter.

Kings lose by 7 at home to the Warriors with the Rockets coming to town.

Ron goes 7-24. Ron needs to be a DEFENSIVE MONSTER NOT KOBE BRYANT-LITE... THAT'S MARTIN'S JOB. WHERE'S THE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR RON.

Very happy with Brad's performance. He deserves the Kings player of the game award with his all out hustle and intensity on the boards even though the Warriors suck on the boards in general.

Next home game is paramount. It's basically a swing game and can change momentum for the Kings. I never knew the Warriors could be so good defensively. I think the Kings are good enough at home where they can recover from this.

Can't wait to see the reception Adelman gets when he gets here. He better get a standing O because that man deserves it.
