One of my favorite NBA blogs is Straight Bangin'. Posts like this are why.

In most categories, Francisco Garcia has been better than John Salmons this year... including scoring and turnovers, which surprised the hell out of me. Both need to shoot the three better, though. I know Garcia can. Based on history, I'm not convinced Salmons can improve that.
Stephen Jackson says defending Ron Artest is tougher than guarding Kobe Bryant. I'm guessing Jack woke up with some bruises on the chest Thursday morning.
Check out the new Schmap on the left sidebar. I promise it will be more up-to-date than I am with those results/schedule things. Is it causing slowness for anyone? If not, it'll be there so you don't have to travel elsewhere for your scores and schedule.

S-Jax's comment intrigues me. I think that most people would assume that it's "harder" to guard Kobe given how many ways he can score and how much he gets out of every move. But it is likely far more physically challenging to guard Ron. With Kobe, you get tired; with Ron, you get hurt.

Is it just me, or is the Houston game missing from that cool Schmap thingie. I show the GS game and then Utah on the 4th.

The Schmap thing is fine, if it is correct, but what you had before was fine too. All I really need is "next 5 games".

OK, so if Brad, Mikki, Ron, Kevin and Beno were playing the Rockets in ARCO and Cisco, Salmons, Douby, Williams and Hawes were playing the Bucks in the practice facility, which game would you attend?
