Pie in the sky....it works with the cap for all three teams, but give your opinion how it would/could effect all teams involved and feasibility for each. Why would or wouldnt each team consider this.
Pros and Cons.

Re: Searching for a trade...Please leave comments.
I'm not sure the Knicks would drop Curry and Lee, even for Artest.
I have no clue why Seattle would do this? Is Curry-Wilcox an acceptable front line? I think they value their impending cap space.
Re: Searching for a trade...Please leave comments.
I don't see this happening.
(B) If the Knicks won't trade Lee in a deal for Artest, then why would they trade Lee, Curry & Robinson for Artest & Wally Z (I removed the cap filler)?
(C) Cap space was exactly the reason they traded Allen and let Lewis go, so the Sonics ownership wouldn't be taking on ANY of this extra contract obligation. One of the things that they're doing to assist in moving the franchise is alienating the current fan base. If the team starts winning, then they could get their publicly funded arena and have to stay (which they don't want any more, because they're trying to move the team). For an admittedly TERRIBLE reference think: Major League, but less funny.

Whatever floats your boat, I suppose
Re: I don't see this happening.
(A) What I was thinking was more cap space sooner...I think. I did not include any draft day considerations as I am not sure how to apply them. As to why GP would not include the Poodle, it doesnt hurt to ask besides - When did any trade that Isiah was involved with make sense for the Knicks?
(B) See (A)
C) I did not consider the basketball theatrical version called Field of Durham, "if you lose games they wont come" scenario...
Umm bro
That being said
