Official Kings website rant

Every time I go to check the score of the game at the Kings' official website, I get lost. How could such a high profile company such as a professional basketball team have such a busy, unintuitive website?

Star-divide

What's the first thing that I get when I load up kings.com? Not including the annoying flash splash page that is up for Christmas, I get links for the dance team, a beach party, and all sorts of merchandise and ticket ads. I shouldn't have to load ESPN.com or the equally gaudy nba.com in order to find the score and game recap. The Kings' official website is like a fourteen year old girl's web browser: all sorts of tabs and unnecessary toolbars.

You might ask how all this is relevant to Sactown Royalty. Well, when I come here, I find good front page analysis and breakdowns of the games. What I don't find, however, is the score. Consider this a request to TZ (or whoever's doing the game recaps) to include the score in the already awesome recaps.

Website Sucks
I've been disappointed at the Kings webpage too. It  seems so elementary compared to other NBA webpages.

ESPN
Just go to ESPN and clcik on the NBA scoreboard off the front page. NBA.com is ridiculous as well (especially if you wanna see a quick box score for fantasy reasons). Ive found ESPN to be the most helpful and easy to access

yahoo
personally, I prefer Yahoo. It's fast, neat and proves that simplicity still gets it done in the flash era.

Agreed
Many times I have the NBA.com box score up while I'm watching the game and/or participating in an in game thread.

Fear not
SB Nation has some really awesome new features on the way, possibly by next month. In the meantime, I'll try to mention the score and link to the box in my recaps. Good idea.
