Holy Moly!!!! Is all I have to say. First off, I am not into the WNBA. This may sound like you have heard it before, but for me its true. Watching the WNBA is like watching five year olds play soccer. The ball goes one direction and then both teams run over to it with their legs extended in the kicking position and the only thing they ever kick is the other kids shins. I tried last year harder than I ever have to watch it and give it a chance. But when I heard the announcer say something of the effect that "So-and-So dunked the other night in a game and it was the fifth recorded dunk in a WNBA game..." I pretty much turned the channel to Magnum P.I., at least I can watch the scenery in Hawaii.
With all of that being said, I have never been a fan of the women in the league. Ok this is where it gets sexest. But lets be real, most of us judge the female sideline reporter by their looks first. And mind you, I am no Brad Pitt or George Clooney myself, but I do like a good looking girl to be staring back at me from the magic box. Then if she has something good to say, it is a bonus. If you think I am wrong about this, then why do the professional teams have cheerleaders? Do I really need to be told when to cheer at an NBA game?
But Kayte is hot!!!! I hope she is on there more often. And she did a good job. She has a personality, which helps on TV. In fact I would go so far as to recommend them putting old Jerry Reynolds out to pasture and make glue out of him and stick Kayte next to the red-headed stepchild.
Yes this is an off-topic post, but really, are the Kings worth talking about? Petrie never gives us anything to talk about in the papers. You never really hear him slip with his secret trades. So, when Kayte came on TV, it made the game worth watching, at least at halftime. The team is pretty fun to watch. They try hard (everyone except for Barf Miller). Thank God he got rid of that stupid headband. The sooner we trade him, the more games I will watch.
