Tarence Kinsey

Has any of you heard of Tarence Kinsey?

I've been following his progress late last season and he played really well when most of the Grizz were hit by an injury bug. He playes so well that he was named the NBA's Western Conference Rookie of the Month (18.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.63 steals). I think we signed to wrong Grizzly (Jones), this guy has game. What's up with Memphis anyway? I know Gay and Miller are playing well but with the often injured Gasol and Milicic, you'd think they'd avoid cutting players (they now have only 11 healthy bodies)

Okay from a fair standpoint

The guy can defend. You can use him to D up on multiple guys in multiple situations. The problem is do you take Salmons Martin Garcia off the floor to do it? The guy is in a numbers crunch for a young swing heavy team. Whether he can stick in the league I'm not sure. It depends on how many hells he's willing to walk through to stay around I guess.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Allen

But that's a personal opinion. I think that's an interesting question about Artest.

Trading Artest

GP has to be planning to trade him doesn't he? I guess if I was pretty sure we could sign him for 4 years 40 million, with the last 2 years as team options, I wouldn't trade him.

I don't think that's even close to what it'll take. I've read Artest say it's not about the money, he just wants to win a championship. Which says to me he's gone after this year whatever we offer.

Though I've also read where he said if you want the big $ you have to take the big shots, so I read that as saying he wants to get paid. I'd guess he'd want closer to 60 million for 4 years. I wouldn't want to do that.
