Jason Waived+ Rashard Lewis thoughts

Jason Hart was waived today..................
What does this mean?

Rashard Lewis and the Sonics are said to be having some disagreements and he might be out of Seattle soon.  How bout we trade ron for lewis after the lottery?

How long is Rashards contract, if it is expiring we can do some thing els w/ ron like shave cap space, and pick up draft picks, and get lewis.

I think a Bibby, Martin, Lewis trio will dominate.

* No Ron= big numbers for mike and kevin

Re: Jason Waived+ Rishard Lewis thoughts
rashard can opt out of his contract this year which he'll probably do.  to the kings, maybe not as i don't think the sonics will want artest.  and the media has been saying that lewis is going to be the top priority of jordan and the bobcats.

Re: Jason Waived+ Rashard Lewis thoughts
Hart's waived means nothing. Hart wanted this all along and he finally got it.

There is no way the Sonics will trade Lewis for Ron cuz there is something called Ron-Ron's checkered past.

Bibby is no going to stay past this year and no a Bibby-Martin-Lewis trio would not dominate b/c they wouldn't be able to defend their own shadows and Bibby's inconsistency will only kill the Kings.

Plus, I WANT MIKE BIBBY'S PASSIONLESS AND INCONSISTENT BASKETBALL OUT OF SACRAMENTO. There is a much cheaper option in Maurice Williams.

Time to Break 'em up.

Re: Jason Waived+ Rashard Lewis thoughts
Rashard will sign a fat fat FAT contract with Orlando, Charlotte, or New Orleans this summer. There's no way he stays in Seattle.

At this point, he's an older Kevin Martin. He'd be great alongside Kev if the team pulled in a great distributing point guard, a la Andre Miller. Otherwise, the Kings are stacked at his position - it's the one place they have real depth with Kev, Ron, Salmons, and Francisco.

The only way the Kings could get remotely involved in the Rashard sweepstakes is if Bibby opts out and they can deal Ron and one of the power forwards while taking back less salary, which could be impossible. They could also try a sign-and-trade, but I'm not sure we have anything Seattle would want. Would they take Bibby thinking their fresh start in OKC would come when he comes off the books, but also that Bibby + Ray Allen + Wilcox could at least compete next season?

Re: Jason Waived+ Rashard Lewis thoughts
In the lines of trading ron ron as ive said many times today in many posts do you think moving him to  minnesota sending ricky davis to philly bringing andre miller back here would work. Of course sac could throw in ronnie price & a 1st rounder for 2007/8 whichever is less valuable to the kings to philly also....I know its a reach..but im still hoping bibby opts out (which i dont think is a reach as crazy as that sounds).

Re: Jason Waived+ Rashard Lewis thoughts
Rashard is definitely not the answer.  I think it is time the Kings just suck it up and rebuild.  I think you need to make Kevin Martin the focal point and hope Bibby opts out.  If he doesn't, then you trade him.  Also, the Kings have bigger problems besides Artest, and one of them is Brad Miller.  If there is a guy who is more overpaid in the league, I would like to meet him.  Brad is 7Ft and can't jump, which makes rebounding difficult.  He can't defend, so when Bibby get beat up top, who is there to stop him?  If Bibby opts out, I think that would give relief to the cap to get help in the middle.  Groom Ronnie Price to take over the reigns with Douby backing him up.  Trade Miller and get help that way as well.
