The NBA Got One Right

As my name states, I am not a big fan of the NBA officials.  You can try and convince me otherwise, but I believe, when it comes to certain teams and times of the year, that the NBA tells them what to do.  I believe the NBA is a secret society, like the Wizard of Oz, "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain".  If you disagree, then tell me why the do the ping-pong balls secretly?  Why don't we see the balls come out of the basket?

But, as hard as I am on them, I must say the NBA got one right.  Joey Crawford, along with Dick Bavetta, Bob Delaney and the other clowns are a joke.  You always here about players getting suspended and fined because of comments directed at the officials, but you never hear anything about an official getting suspended for being a meathead.  Until now.

Out of the four major sports, the NBA officials are the worst.  Now I don't claim that it is an easy job, but when you have been doing it for so long, you would think the obvious traveling call or moving screen would be called.  instead they give them more rope to call technicals for hanging on the rim a split second too long or in Dickhead Crawfords case, looking at them wrong.  It sucks when you can tell the outcome of a game, just by who is officiating.  And if you think I am nuts, does anybody remember game 6 against the lakers when Kobe elbowed Bibby in the final seconds, and no whistle was blown.  Now Kobe goes for a shot and swings his arm down catching a couple of guys in the face, in a meaningless regular season game, and he is ejected, suspended and fined.

Thank you NBA for having a little bit of a sack and suspending one of the worst officials in the league for doing something other than officiating the game.  If I know the officials name, then he is not doing his job.  But I still stand by my name:  NBA Officials are on the Take.
