What if I joined the '03-04 Kings? Maybe I can help them win the NBA Finals!

Today,Joe and Gavin introduced me as the newest member of the Kings. After they introduced me,and they gave me my uniform,the media spoke to me about me being a fixture in Sacramento for years to come. Here are a few excerpts:
Martin McNeal,Sacramento Bee:How does it feel to be in Sacramento playing for the Kings?
Fitzpatrick:I feel like a leprechaun who has found the largest pot of gold in Ireland!
Scott Howard-Cooper,also from the Bee:What do you think about the other Kings players?
Fitzpatrick:I think they are all talented,experienced players who get the job done,and Coach Adelman is one of the best coaches in the NBA. I am going to like it here.
Bryan May,KXTV News 10:What will be your goal on bringing the NBA championship to Sacramento?
Fitzpatrick:A lot of hard work,determination and the Fighting Irish spirit I had at Notre Dame! (Shows media his tattoo of Fighting Irish logo on his right ankle.)
Jason Ross,Sports 1140,KHTK:What do you think of the Los Angeles Lakers?
Fitzpatrick:I don't like the Lakers. Playing the Lakers gets my Irish up. I would really like to beat them on our way to the NBA title. Phil Jackson can kiss my Irish arse.
Ron Hyde,KCRA-TV 3:To sum things up,what do you think of the Kings overall?
Fitzpatrick:A class organization,with class players and a top-notch ownership group. Me,my wife Erin and my two kids,Ireland and Phillip will love this city. Compared to where I live,in Indiana,the climate is great,the people are friendly and Sacramento is a great place to live. I want to play for the Kings,and create a dynasty for the greatest fans in the world.

Now,we get ready to start playing basketball,beginning with preseason play. In the next post,I will give you highlights from my first preseason game! I am Fightin' Philip Fitzpatrick of the Sacramento Kings and I approve of this message.

I did exceptionally well in the preseason,averaging a double-double in those games,with 15 points and 10 rebounds. I know these are games that don't count,but on October 29,the Kings will begin their quest for the NBA title. I think when the Kings win it all,I am going to celebrate like it's St. Patrick's Day in June! In my next post,I am going to tell you about my first game as a King,October 29,2003,against the Cleveland Cavaliers. I hope we come through this year! Irish Power! October 29,2003-In my first game as a King,we pounded Cleveland 107-74 at Arco. We had a huge night from Peja,who had 23 points,and Mike,who tallied 21,and Chris had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Cavaliers were led by LeBron James,who had a decent showing,with 16 points,6 rebounds,and 2 assists. But how did I do tonight? I played fairly well,and here are the stats:
9 points
a team-leading 13 rebounds
6 assists,that also led the team
3 for 8 from the field
3 for 6 from the line
2 steals
2 personal fouls.
In all,a fairly good night,as we led from start to finish,and after this win against Cleveland,who knows? My prediction for an NBA title for the Kings can come true.
