Sactownroyalty getting it's due

Sweet! Sactownroyalty, Tom Ziller, and Cisco are all getting props on ESPN's truehoop. Way to go. I mentioned earlier, if it involves Garcia it's interesting, people are still waking up to the Kevin Martin phenomenon, and there are more signs that Garcia might be one as well.

I don't think the connection factored into the hire (unless it was used as a tie breaker), but it is a very nice perk.

I don't think you ask players what they think of their coach before you hire them. I just think it's a natural tendency since Theus came from college and Cisko played under him @ UL. Cisko didn't undermine Musselman and he won't undermine Theus certainly. In fact Theus may single out Cisko more to avoid the perception he may give Cisko a better opportunity to avoid personal attraction.
