Last thoughts on Musselman

My father makes the jerseys as well as many custom clothing orders for the Kings' players and personnel. I thought that you all would like to know his take on Muss. He said that he had to make a plethora of jerseys for the coach. Basketball jerseys, baseball, football, etc. And that the coach would get these jerseys autographed and then had my dad frame them for him. This, in addition to his socializing with the players, makes me think that Muss was 'just happy to be there'. It sounds like he cared more about autographs than winning. Also, my dad has a constant dialogue with Bibby (he's helping Bibby put on the summer camp), who has mentioned multiple times that the players had no respect for their coach last season due to the things I just mentioned.

Re: Last thoughts on Musselman
no disrespect to you or your father, but i hate second-hand stories.  its like saying "i knew this guy who knew this guy who knew barry bonds trainer's brother and he said that barry hates the fans" unless it is quoted or i hear someone say something, i don't give much credit to things like this.

Well my dad has running dialogue with Bibby, Artest, and Musselman and many other players. I don't know what else to tell you. I wish I could have secretly recorded the conversations, but I didn't.

Re: Last thoughts on Musselman
again there is no disrespect intended, its just that anyone can take a conversation in passing and make it gospil.

Re: Last thoughts on Musselman
This isn't like saying "I know a guy that knew this guy who knew Barry bonds"... This is... My dad makes the Kings Jersey's, Mike Bibby has been over to my house in Loomis (with pictures to prove). This is calling out Ron Artests Jersey to be #93 5 days before a trade is announced while your so called credible reporters are still talking about a Artest to LA deal.

Re: Last thoughts on Musselman
Very interesting.  Thanks for the insight.  I remember that Muss used to talk about his father treating losing like it was worse than death and how he didn't share that view.  I always assumed he still took losing real hard and would really work to  make the team better but it seems like the full extent of that statement has revealed itself over time.
