So I was really bored tonight or well this morning and remembered a journal page I read about awhile back about NBA per diem. It was former Denver Nuggets player Mark Pope's journal about their road trips and their per diem or cash allowances players receive on the road. After reading this, I only wanted to know more about the inner workings of traveling and the per diem of an NBA player. Another search gave me an even better article from the Rocky Mountain News, again about the Denver Nuggets and their per diem allowance. It was funny to read how players spend their extra cash on roadtrips, especially former Sactown player Jamal Sampson aka the "Subway King"
