The Bee's Sam Amick updates us on Mike Wilk's audition with the Kings. The audition might have only been a meeting, though, and all we really know is Wilks went to lunch in Elk Grove (possibly with Geoff Petrie, possibly not).

I think the team wined and dined Stan Van Gundy at IHOP on Howe, if I remember correctly. And Wilks... in Elk Grove? Neither convenient from the arena, the airport, nor any reasonable hotels.
The restaurant was Table 260, a soul food joint. Chris Webber is sharpening his pitchfork right now.
