All Time Sacramento Kings Roster
First of all a hearty thank you to the StR tribe. A total of 69 comments and 681 votes helped mold these squads. C-Webb received the most votes, Vlade the highest percentage of votes. 1st team was based on votes, 2nd and 3rd teams were based on votes and comments. So here are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd all time teams for your Sacramento Kings -
FIRST TEAM
Vlade Divac - C Received 133 votes (91%).
Chris Webber - PF Received 145 votes (82%).
Peja Stojakovic - SF Received 86 votes (86%).
Mitch Richmond - SG Received 103 votes (83%).
Mike Bibby - PG Received 66 votes (54%).
SECOND TEAM
Brad Miller - C
Wayman Tisdale - PF
Ron Artest - SF
Doug Christie - SG
Reggie Theus - PG
THIRD TEAM
LaSalle Thompson - C
Brian Grant - PF
Lionel Simmons - SF

Thanks again for your participation. Here's hoping that we are amending this list within five years as SpeedRacer moves up the list, and we make room for Francisco Garcia and Spencer Hawes (and Justin Williams and Quincy Douby?).

Re: All Time Sacramento Kings Roster
I'm betting J-Will either makes the team and gets garbage minutes.
I think we'd all agree the frontline rotation will consist of
Brad for 25-30 minutes
Abdur-Rahim for 20-25 minutes
Moore for 20-25 minutes
Hawes for 10-15 minutes
Thomas for 5-10
J-Will gets the garbage.
Re: All Time Sacramento Kings Roster
Hard to disagree with you, although I think the Kings draft Hawes no matter what, given the players that had been taken and the players that remained. And although Williams is the most limited offensively he is easily the most athletic when it comes to the Kings bigs. He may get specific minutes when the Kings need an infusion of rebounding and shot blocking. Also, I'm willing to bet that 'Reef's knees prohibit him from averaging more than about 15-18 a night.

I think we need to take this into perspective here. I don't understand all the pizazz and glamor people see in Justin. I understand there is a tendency to root for the young guy to do well and when they comes through, HOORAY!!
But I think people have to take this J-Will's performance down the stretch with a grain of salt. Last time I checked, he was still a very raw big man and who struggles mightily defensively and offensively.
Re: All Time Sacramento Kings Roster
And I don't believe we are just rooting for the "young guy to do well". We are rooting for a young guy who has some skills this team currently lacks - namely athleticism, post defense and rebounding.
