Monday Footnotes
- Last week, my buddy Matt Watson talked to John Salmons about his role and his season-to-date. Great piece from a guy who rarely gets interviewed.
- The latest edition of the Blogger MVP Rankings is up at Pickaxe and Roll, which is SB Nation's (fairly) new Nuggets blog.
- Hardwood Paroxysm got some bloggers together to talk about rebuilding models for franchises.
- At BallHype, we're on Volume 2 of the Spotlight Series. This edition will feature top sportsbloggers talking about books. Bethlehem Shoals of FreeDarko kicked it off this morning. Make sure to set aside a few minutes for this one; it's brilliant.
- This piece sums up blogging in a nutshell.
- Elie Seckbach interviews Sam Amick, with a Ron Artest cameo. As I've said before, Amick's a great guy and (obviously) a hard worker. Also, go Hornets.

"He doesn't have the luxury of being with a team that can wait when he's in the game," Theus said. "Usually I'm trying to find minutes with Spence. If things don't go right, a bad five-minute stretch for us could be devastating. [But] where he's got to make his biggest improvement is on the defensive end. The defensive end will get him more minutes. And he's got to get a little stronger."
