Chris Anderson anyone?

What do y'all think about Chris Anderson, the 6'10" freak athlete who is currently applying for reinstatement? Remember the white dude who missed hella dunks at the dunk contest a few years back? He's 29, but I'm sure he's also hungry to prove he can still block shots and grab boards. He's a potential problem child, but so what! So were/are Ron Artest, Chris Webber, Keon Clark and Jason Williams! Petrie loves these talented problem childs. And I'm sure we could get him for cheap. I don't think the Hornets will take him back, as they obviously don't need help since they're sitting on top of the conference. I think he would fit right in to this team of castoffs and guys who never got a chance to prove themselves before.

Intersesting
His best season had him posting 7.7 pts., 6.1 rebs., 1.5 blks. and less than an assist in 21 minutes of play. A career 60% free throw shooter.

I don't think the risk is worth the reward, unless he can be had for the minimum, and even then I'd hate to see him skimming the few few minutes available for Hawes and 3-Wil.

yeah
After thinking about it more, he reminded me of a white 3-Wil. Maybe the lost son of Jason and Justin Williams. But you gotta love a career average of 1.3 blks in 16 mpg! Plus, we're just so thin up front, and the dude plays with a lot of energy. And it would be an interesting experiment. But yeah, I'd rather see 3-Wil get more minutes.

Nah
He'll probably be able to help someone (Denver, NO or Boston -- I read earlier he's friendly with KG?!?); he's 29 already, and it would restrict Spencer's minutes the rest of year -- something I'm not in favor of, given the small benefit he'd bring to a (likely) lottery team.

Exciting-as-hell player, though. He'll help someone more than Webber will help GS, probably.

Hell FRIGGGGGINNNNN noooooo
Okay, TZ alluded to it, but I think he would help GS or Boston a team like that. The kings already have 3 way and the Kings don't need Anderson. That guy is a serious goof. Athletic as hell though.

Probably a bad choice
I remember watching him a bit during his stint in Denver (before he went to the Hornets), and I don't think he would be a good add to the Kings.  He brings some good stuff to the table though, such as his blocks and his energy.  The fans love him wherever he goes, and he provides a lot of comedy.  Who can forget "It's time for the birdman to fly"?  All in all though, I think Section said it best, too much risk for the reward.

Anderson was terrific those 2 years in Denver
Bzdelik did a great job with him. That 17-65 Denver team that featured Juwan Howard & Chris is one of the greater bad teams of all time. I don't think people who weren't paying attention realize how incredible winning 17 games with that squad was.

That would be an amazing front court
Imagine, Anderson's wild hair with Brad's cornrows. Ownage!
