Looking back that may have been

the worst player loss under GP's reaign as King's GM.

On a brighter note, anyone think SA is wishing they'd hadn't given up Beno? Parker out indefinitely, Barry injured, and Vaughn looking horrible last night as a starter. Glad we aren't the only ones to make boneheaded moves.

yeah but ...

that's hindsight - you have to remember there weren't enough minutes for Gerald because we had so many great players competing for a championship.

Gerald reminds me of a good, young intern for a fortune 500 company - cut his teeth and learned under a bunch of vets, but was too young to be trusted with any real responsibility. then he went and got a full time gig with a smaller company and became a star.

Do they give you credit for the fact that you got her in the first place or do they all just shake their heads at what an idiot you are for letting her go?

(Of course since my wife reads this blog religiously, I married the hot babe.)

A catch 22

I remember Gerald saying that he stepped up his workout routine and practiced a lot harder after he got picked up in the expansion draft. Its likely that he wouldn't have become the player he is today if he had stayed here.
