This is the best possible outcome. I’m looking forward to moving on and enjoying the season.

Spencer Hawes

So he is a professional athlete after all!

All the folks in the mighty 206 are proud of you Spence!

We’re cheering for ya kid!

maaaaan, this does not bode well

I think the collective expectations for how Spencer’s career plays out went down several notches today, from “three-time all-star over productive 12 year career” to “2 1/2 seasons then medical exception retirement”.

Nobody knows his body like Spence, and he sees eggshells where his knees are supposed to be. Damn.

I remember

when I was four years old and I backed up the toilet with paper and it overflowed and scared the hell out of me. I didn’t flush again until July of last year (I’m 49, by the way). Maybe it’s like that with Hawes and his knee…

that could very well be

I remember C-Webb and other players coming back from injury have talked about the fear and mental block they had about doing the thing that injured them in the first place…

…you made me feel a bit better.

Glad I could help

I just went to the bathroom and couldn’t bring myself to flush. Thanks for the Full Metal Jacket flashback.

I love the toilet bowl analogy section

Rather perfect I do say.

toilet monsters

How did you overcome your phobia? I have a friend cough who also is afraid to flush the toilet and I could, I mean, he could use some advice.

One thing that doesn't help

is when your mom uses it as your bathtub (insert aggravating facial tick here…here…and here).

Just for the record

which restroom do you frequent most often at ARCO?

Awesome

Next step: getting rid of this asinine test.

I mean if Brad Miller can pass it, who are we trying to filter out?

by furious.d on Oct 2, 2008 8:24 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Miller passes test.

Suspended for five games anyway.

Timothy Leary is the Kings new conditioning coach.
