I hope we didn't

pick up Ziller’s option. ;p

Yeah

Hell I’m watching it. I must be a hard core Kings fan.

We're shooting well too

but they’re also hitting 3s and getting to the line.

True

Both teams over 50% shooting but Blazer shooting 58% on 3s and 7 made

It's pretty clear that

Oden has Spencer’s number. Spence got 3 early fouls and we haven’t seen him since.

I didn't know he was that big until I saw the first preseason game

I remember watching him play for Ohio State and he wasn’t nearly as wide. What a difference a year makes

by eduardo_m7 on Oct 20, 2008 8:11 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeah, he grew up quick

12 months of sitting around lifting weights probably didn’t hurt too much either.

Beats following the

game on ESPN gamecast and listening to the radio. Which is what I did for most of last season.

In some ways it's actually

almost as good a feed as the last game. Other than the big black refresh lines.

I feel lucky

Everytime I come in to comment on the games it seems like I’m the only one still in the Sac area watching it on Comcast SportsNet

by eduardo_m7 on Oct 20, 2008 8:25 PM PDT reply actions

The game was supposed to be on CSN

but instead they were showing some high-school football game in Podunkville. I called Comcast and they were clueless and helpless as usual.

I don't see how

The Kings will be able to get by without Miller for 5 games.

We're hanging

around against a team that many predict to be a solid playoff team, without Beno and basically without Brad. But yeah, we are really young and undeveloped in the big man dept.

Yeah

Kevin has 0 asts and 0 rebs. 4 TOS, but his scoring is nice.

We're shooting

well, rebounding ok and the defense is bad but not really bad. Only reason we’re losing is the TOs, way too many TOs.

I know it is just pre season

But JT had a very good first half then hardly played in the secong half

by Beagle12 on Oct 20, 2008 9:28 PM PDT reply actions

Yea.

JT can be very valuable with his play around the basket and rebounding. I’m hoping he’ll be the 4th big man coming off the bench for the early part of the season instead of K9 (woof!)

BOOK IT!

Shelden looked nervous to me.

Like he really wanted to impress, but ended up doing the opposite. 2pts & 0rbs in 12min. Yikes.

This game probably reaffirmed his slide down the depth chart, which sucks for him.
