Our favorite future All Star gets snubbed again
Most of these national writers are douche bags but I'm always amazed at how Kmart continually flys under the radar and gets left off lists like these.
Oh and sorry if this list has been mentioned on STR before, all these national writers blend into one for me.

Truly unconscionable
I’m particularly sensitive to attacks on personal rankings these days, but to leave Martin outside a top 50 at this point is asinine.
Espceially
with Redd, Hamilton and Artest in the list. Just to name 3 that I have no doubt are not as good as Kevin is right now.
regarding being sensitive to attacks:
Don’t take any fanhouse hate to heart TZ. Your list was well thought out and fun to watch appear. Your writing is the only reason I ever visit that site.

I quietly laugh to myself.
Because almost every one of these players has been outflashed by Martin at some point, or will be in the near future.
Lets start up a hit-list, like Chad Johnson did in the NFL a few years ago. Who can effectively guard Martin. Make two lists, one by team, and one by player.
Next, if you really want to to get to the nitty gritty start comparing statistical data. Start with SG’s, then do PG’s, SG’s, and SF’s if you feel so inclined.
Now just for the sake of argument, without throwing out numbers and technical details take a pole of intelligent basketball enthusiasts. Ask the Moderators of other blogs to take a pole on Favorite shooting guard, or Best shooting guard. Offer up the top 10 names statistically in random order.
I would be hard pressed to find if Martin wasn’t in the top 10 of SG’s, and that’s a very conservative guess, I would venture to guess top 5. Once you factor in other smalls (PG’s, SF’s) he should be top 25. Taking a current pole of top 50 players in the league, I would say still top 25.
My 2 cents.
Absorb the latest snub, Kevin

What's with the uber brilliant quips today?
It’s like you put on the genius cap and they all came out flowing at random.
