Kevin Martin: MRI Negative, Day-to-Day
The early word on Kevin Martin's left ankle: the MRI was negative, and he's day-to-day. He might try to go Tuesday night against Detroit.
Just a brutal fall. Hope he feels better quickly.

Reinjuring an ankle
Makes is infinitely worse than the same injury to your good leg. Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker are both out with longer-term ankle injuries. Quincy Douby’s injury has lingered for a month. Frankly, the Kings are unlikely to beat Detroit anyway and it’s the first game of a back-to-back. I’d just as soon see Kevin sit, at least against Detroit and maybe against the Clippers as well. Maybe Douby can go Tuesday?
Shut up and Coach
He's fine-
The fall looked a lot worse than it was. Martin hardly limped off the court and I would be shocked if he missed more than a game or two if any. I think it was the classic fall to the floor thinking its all over only to realize that you landed just right and everything is still attached but I better grab something so I don’t look like a pussy- injury.
Hot dogs, get your hot dogs.
Lets hope it was just a bad fall
Thats what it looked like to me live and on TV later. A hard body/head knock off the floor. Didn’t seem like he came down hard on that ankle but I’m not sure . . . .
Hawes said after the game that he seemed pretty good.
Cisco? Cisco? CISCO!!!! #*$!%! !
Yup
Hope he feels better quickly is all to be said.
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on
Out
According to Amick’s latest blog post, Kevin is out 7-10 days. Bobby Jackson may start in his place.

Crappers
It could be worse though. Tony Parker is missing what a month with an ankle, Josh Smith too right?
