Columnist Thinks Sasha Vujacic is As Good As John Salmons

Wow.
That guy is dumber than pants on fish. Ignoring Vujacic’s below average numbers this season and over her career, ya think maybe all the attention Kobe receives on defense has anything at all to do with the other Lakers offensive numbers? Has this guy ever actually watched Salmons play?
Now, I absolutely believe that Sasha is the best female basketball player ever and I’m fully in support of a woman playing in the NBA, but she’s not as good as John Salmons.
If the Laker bench is so much better than the Kings starters, why did they only manage to win by 10 points, on their home floor with Kobe Fricking Bryant on their team? Dumber than a bag of hammers.
Yes, I acknowledge that my post is populated with more insults than analysis, but:
1. They’re funny.
2. That article? Come on.

Best female athlete?
IDK, Mikki Griffith sure gives Sasha a run for her money.
Napear: "Going in to the final timeout what did the coach tell you?"
Bibby: "I asked the coach if I should go and he said, I don't really know what he said."

Wow 2, the sequel
They are euphoric down there. I guess John’s chin-boobies don’t turn this guy on like Sasha’s “Dennis the Menace” act.
Vujacic is one of those guys you love to hate…a high-energy guy, hard-nosed defending pest (notice I didn’t say “good” defender). I wouldn’t hate having a guy like that on my team, albeit way down on the bench, and used against the right teams at the right time.
But comparing him as nearly equivalent to Salmons? Negative Ghost Rider.

The reporter is still smarting
from his vaunted bench blowing a 20+ point lead at home in the Finals and then being utterly destroyed in a Finals deciding game that will for decades set the standard for humiliation in a close out game.
I’m looking forward for years, whenever a team is getting blown out in a deciding game, seeing the TV graphic comparing it to the ass kicking put on Kobe’s Lakers by the Celtics last summer.

Is Vujacic better than Lamar Odom too?
Salmons would have taken that shot, scored and it would count too.
“Vujacic or John Salmons? Close one” . I guess it’s too easy to become a “columnist” these days.
I don’t know if this saying exists in USA too, but here in Greece we say “opinions are like a$$ h0le$, everyone has one”.

Huh?
Paradoxes are fun and cliched sports journalism is funner!
Step 1: Since we are close enough to Lala land we must name-drop celebrities.
Step 2: Make an assertion that the Laker’s bench is better then the King’s starters.
Step 3: Write how the Laker’s bench nearly blew a 20 point lead, thus disproving Step 2, yet not acknowledging the flawed logic of Step 2.
Step 4: Write about how Sasha is a horrible teammate, per Ariza’s and Jackson’s claims, yet say that he can do much better and is a better player then John Salmons.
Step 5: Quote Phil Jackson and ride off into the sunset.
There now I've met the 75 word count. -pookeyguru

johnny looked really effective last night
but he plays offense in a complete vacuum
he doesn’t make anyone else better, he kills assists, he busts plays, he can score on just about anybody but he doesn’t get to the line enough to really be a “give him the ball every time you need a bucket” stud…and he’s vanilla

Seriously?!?!?
From the Ding article:
Odom or Brad Miller?…Odom gives the Lakers’ second unit a critical team-oriented mentality.
Odom is more “team-oriented” than Brad? Seriously?!??!

That is Ridiculous
Salmons is way better then Vujacic. Speaking of Sasha, have you guys seen this video of him? Hysterical, truly worth watching.

First of all
K-Mart is the starting SG so Sasha or K-Mart should be the question. Answer? No contest.
Salmons or Ariza would then be the question. Salmons I believe.
Also, was Spencer really the starting center? I thought that Miller was. SO it would be Odom vs. Spencer. Either way, it’s a weak article. Also, I am not so sure that Bynum will ever become great. He is very good but we will see if he becomes better than Shawes.
