That was a nailbiter

(This clown has been banned. FanPost survives thanks to the strong pushback in the comments. - TZ)

I was in the 6th row tonight and  I must say one thing to you guys.  With Portland playing one of there worst games of the season and Sacramento playing one of there better games, Portland is still obviously the better team, and Sacramento is still not good at all.  I mean we embarrassed you on Friday in the capital city and then you come back with all this energy and fight, yet you still couldn't get it done in the end. Salmons shoots for the game? Are you kidding? But then again, what else you got with a good ankle?  I mean, I got mad respect for Coach Bill Fuller and your crew and all, but the Kings are one of those teams you just know is gonna lose the second they take the floor.   Thats all there really is to it.  Maybe its just because I'm the most biased Trailblazer fan you'll ever meet, but is there really anyone outside of Northern California (not including Oakland) that thinks the Kings have any sort of chance at slipping into the 8 slot? I didn't think so.   Ask yourself the same question about the Blazers.  I bet you'll get a slightly different answer, even outside the Northwest.

Either way, I feel you Kings fans.  Wanting to win so bad, yet you just cant seem to do it.  I, as a Blazers fan, was there one day not too long ago, and at a time when you Kings were ALMOST on top of the world.  How does it feel now?

I bet it sucks real bad. And its not getting better anytime soon.

Personally, I appreciate your comment

Because a lot, not all, but a lot of the Blazers fans that have been coming to ‘contribute’ here lately are really annoying the hell out of me. Just keep it in your blog. You guys have your space in where to post whatever the hell you want, why come here?? I understand it is the internet but the trolling and the stupidity is too much to take lately.

I’m sure TZ will delete this in the morning but still wanted to get somd of this crap out of my chest

No smart Blazer fan would agree with was said

And no intelligent Kings fan would either.

Just to make sure no one misunderstands

I was agreeing and reccing CBM, not the idiot who posted the fanpost.

I know you know that, but I looked at it and realized I might not have been clear….

Fair enough

No Hard feelings. IF there is any such thing as feeling gravy about a team 5-11, I’m feeling that about this group right now jscot. I imagine similar feelings about the Blazers are in similar vogue at the moment.

It's not as bad as the Blazers last year

As I recall, the Kings started pretty badly last year as well, but turned it on and came within 3 games of making 500. That’s solid ball in the West. Seriously, it looks bad now, but your team is not that bad. When Martin comes back, they’ll rattle off some feisty, mean looking wins. Guaranteed.

Blazin’s a fool. All groups have members they wish they could vanquish, but when it comes time to decide about them, they conspicuously shut up.

No doubt (on the members we wish to vanquish)

Not many members like that, but Stinky definitely takes front & center on that one for us.

We're just a couple years removed from the playoffs

and are just starting to rebuild. To compare us to a team that has been rebuilding for the better part of this decade is absurd, your team was expected to compete last year but Ill admit, last year was ridiculous. With Kevin and Cisco out most of us are content with moral victories. Seeing Spence, Shock, Bobby Brown, and Greene getting serious burn and not playing horribly is good enough for right now. In Petrie we trust and next summer we have 2 first rounders(1 should be lottery) and Brad Miller’s expiring contract to work with. And we’re setup for 2010 even if Lebron decides royalty isnt befitting. We’re not the bandwagon type, we stick through hard times and right now times are hard but there is reason for optimism. Its the bright spots within bad games that keep us watching and we have the building blocks to be good as soon as next year, imo.

It's nice that Blazer fans disagree with ti

Because at first I thought the content of this would be different. Until I read the first comment by McLovin. (And to be honest with you jk, I’m more irritated by a Kings troll, Stinky/NNA, who posted 100+ comments in the game thread of the Monday game between our teams.)

Blazin Trails…we’ll talk in three years. Though I love your team’s direction, you haven’t proved anything yet. Imagine how your blazers would have done without your best player (roy) tonight as the kings had to play (w/out martin). Take away your six man as well. Enough said. I’m not going to speak about Oden’s health because truely I want to see him succeed (just imagine what I might say). I would never go onto a blazers blog and put a rebuilding team down if we had won. Isn’t it enought that you have managed to grab so much young talent? We kings fan’s know about jinxes and you don’t want to jix your team.

not worthy of an answer

but there’s some joke in that as well:

Yeah, I do. I am not from Northern California. I have never been to Northern California. I have never been in the US as a matter of fact.

I bet it sucks real bad.

It was bound to happen

We’ve made it a looong while without this kind of thing happening, but it happens to most blogs/message boards.

I checked out the game thread, we might need someone available to apply the banhammer when Mr. Z is not around.

Yeah I don't doubt it

I’m very angry as his Bobby Hurley screen name. That’s very dis-respectful if you ask me. I’m considering writing a fan post about it cuz I’m so pissed.

Sorry guys

At least he didn’t cap everything and had complete sentences. His list of redeeming qualities ends there.

The logic was atrocious. There was no compelling argument. Just blah, blah, you suck. I guess that’s because reason suggests there’s not that much to be depressed about. On the bright side, he got people to say lots of nice things about the Kings. Idiots sometimes bring out their betters.
