CHI gets B.Miller,M.Moore,M.James & give up L.Hughes,T.Thomas & D.Gooden.They get their starting C,Moore can pair w/ Gray to backup frontcourt & James can duo w/ Hunter as Off. & Def. backup PG`s. 23.2mil for 23.2mil

N.O. gets B.jackson & D.Gooden & gives up M.james,R.Butler & H.Armstrong.They get an old friend to backup CP3 & a much needed backup big man to pair w/ M.Ely.
14mil takeon & 12mil going out

Sac gets L.Hughes,T.Thomas,R.Butler & H.Armstrong & gives up B. Miller,BJackson & M.Moore. 24 mil going out & taking on 22.2 mil! We get younger and allow Hawes & Thompson to start, also I personally would start Hughes at the point and give ball handling duties to Salmons & let Beno earn his Job learning from 2nd string.

Hughes Udrih Brown
Martin Garcia Douby
Salmons Green Butler
JT T.Thomas K.Thomas
Hawes Armstrong Williams

FYI

You could put this in a FanPost, because it’s your idea. It was a little confusing in the FanShots, because my first impression was that it was a reported rumor, and not just a trade idea.

As Section pointed out on the front page, the easy way to remember is that if it’s your original idea, put it in FanPosts, but if you’re just passing something along that you found (a link, quote, video, picture, etc.), use the FanShots.

As for your proposal itself, I don’t know that I’d start Hughes, and I’m not sure that Greene would be ahead of Butler on the depth chart, but it would definitely open a LOT of minutes in the front court.

I'm OK with the deal, but -

My bet is that it would be met with great disdain at Blog-A-Bull and Atthehive.

New Orleans has a weak bench, and all you are offering them is Gooden, who would be land locked behind David West. The Hornets need bench help on the wings, and that’s just not Bobby Jackson at this point.

The Bulls give up rotation guys Gooden and Hughes, and youngster Thomas for Miller. If I were the Bulls and were willing to give up this much, I’d be Chris Kaman hunting.

NO doubt

I’m not really convinced Tyrus Thomas is worth chasing either to be truthful.

That's OK

A misplaced post is better than no post at all. I think Socrates said that – or was it the guy that helped me fix my back fence?

Not really a fan

of this trade. Larry Hughes is horrific but a nice expiring.

But brads already a nice expiring and at least you can run the offence through him. Larry is the killer of offensive flow. He never met a shot he didn’t like. Especially playing with a guy like kmart. His D is not great either. Don’t forget to factor in that he is also essentially a shooter who can’t actually shoot and thinks he should be the man. there is no way Larry passes up shots to give the ball to rookies.

I’d think you could get more for B52. The fact that he is expiring and can actually play the middle in limited minutes especially on a team that needs a 3rd big to timeshare pf/c is a lot more attractive than Larry Hughes.

If you had to choose between Larry as an expiring or Brad who do you think most teams would move for?

If it was just trading amongst blogs it would probably happen, Anything that gets Larry Freaking Hughes out of blogabull would not be met with disdain. Even to the point that once upon a time golden child Tyrus “i could have been larmarcus aldridge” Thomas may well be bid farewell.

If the aim of the exercise is to open minutes up and nothing more than its a great trade scenario. A resounding success. I am of the opinion however that you might be able to pry a little more away from someone else. However i am not in a position to actually put thought, effort and time into finding out who so hats off, you are a better man than I :)

Brad is not an expiring contract

He expires in 2010.
