While we're waiting for the Game to start

What about the strange start to this season:

  • Atl will be 4-0 after blowing out Tor
  • Mia is up 16 late in SA.
  • NY won in Was and is 3-2

The times they are a changin.

She’s being asked to strut around like a cheerleader and ask stupid questions. Which is really a dumb thing for a sideline reporter. The reason Kozimor knew what made a good sideline reporter is that he had done it for awhile.

(I’m also pretty sure she really isn’t as dumb as she seems.)

Relax big dog

JT is going to push Mikki Moore outta the starting spot. That’s a smart thing of Reggie to expect JT to produce great things until he gets his starting spot. I’d do the same thing Beagle. Relax dude. The Kid has got a future in this league. Probably an all-star future at that.

(Look at Kevin Garnett’s rookie year. It isn’t as impressive when you compare it with the rest of his career, except when you look at the fact he was 19, and the first rookie since Moses Malone to actually have major mins on a team. Look them up sometime. It will make you feel better.)

I don't think they can

They don’t have anybody who fits the ball of what Salmons is capable of. And the Kings have Garcia who is’t playing, and JT and Shawes who will be capable defenders at some point. Maybe Donte Greene will get there. Also Bobby Brown is another plus defender. The Kings have some terrifc touches of balance that the Wolves don’t even remotely have.

A couple of things to like -

Martin on a bum ankle, not shooting well, still manages 26 points on 23 shoots – not bad.

The Kings bigs use 20 of their 30 fouls. Given that you have Miller/Moore/Hawes/Thompson/Williams to choose from, none of these guys should be worried about getting into foul trouble. If someone is heading to the rim, challenge it! I liked what I saw there.

Is Beno getting healthier or is Bobby Brown waking his arse up?

Brad Miller is worth 3-4 points a game to Kevin Martin.

Spencer Hawes has been the most consistently hard playing member of the Kings through the first five games of the year.

I really enjoyed watching John Salmons play tonight.
