Blog LA!

A well-written post, although shockingly, the author felt the need to name it after a motion picture.

And I don’t think I’m being provincial when I suggest that the level of commentary is a bit higher on StR than it is on the Sodom-ball blog, but we’re smarter and a lot better looking.

Gotta run, OW! My Balls! is on.

I love that movie

Hence the “rec”.

Smart analysis by Kurt

You don’t panic after 20 games, and you lose to a team that lost a ton of games. It’s the NBA, and we all know the “saying” about what can happen.

If the Lakers aren’t as perfect as everyone thinks, that certainly opens the doors for others like the Cavs & Celtics to get a ring this season too. The Lakers, though, are on another level right now. Or they have that possibility. Still, for the Kings, they so badly needed this that Friday is likely to not matter.

Ugh. I hate the Lakers too.

They’re like the Red Sox and the Yanks in my book.

I love how

every other poster feels the need to justify themselves by saying something to the tune of…As a lifelong Lakers fan…Just because their fan base has such a reputation for leaping on or off the bandwagon at a moments notice.

Lifelong Laker fan

Mikan, Wilt, Baylor, West, Goodrich, Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Cooper, Shaq, Kobe…

Does someone want to tell me what’s so tough about being a lifelong Laker fan? Where are the hard times? Root for the Clips for three straight years and then pop off, you whiners.

That's just it Section

The real hoops junkies are Clippers fans, and the minority of Laker fans.

Screw them

format looks a little uptight as well

I'm not interested in thier excuses

They were completely healthy, not an ankle twinge amongst them, no strange calls by officials.

Man up.

They got beaten. For most of the game they were just outplayed. This is a team GIVEN Gasol for nothing (and I still do not believe the league should have allowed it), have one of the two best players in the world – and are trying to come up with excuses for a loss. “I musta missed the cowbells” , how lame. They-just-got-beat.

Screw ’em.

We have enough excuses of our own.
(and yes, that site looks uptight as hell)

That site doesn't allow

any real dialogue. It looks like the comment section of the Bee.

Plenty of honest dialogue

It isn’t something you care about, but every time I’ve read F B& G, I’ve found it easy to go through the site.

Truthfully, I think your criticism’s are pointless.

They keep it civilized

It couldn’t be any more different than the comment section of the Bee.

Amen

If I want to learn something about the Lakers, that would be the place to start as far as I’m concerned.

It's a different site from here

Get over it. They have plenty of dialogue. It’s just not as user friendly as SBN"s is.

Up for another semantical discussion are ya?

Look, we disagree. It’s nothing to get your knickers bunched up over.
