The closest he (Reggie Theus) came to a parting shot was this:
"Things around here tend to be on the negative side. That's the one thing I hope that changes. You have to pull for each other in an organization on all levels."

Something interesting from the comments made on the Voisin post
Was this:
I am going to miss Theus, but it was something that had to be done. The kings are underachieving this year (more so than analysts predicted), and the coaching staff was strained with the owners. His firing was more of a question of “when” than “if”. Theus will be back on his feet in no time (NBA or college), and the Kings will find the one who they are looking for. That is the nature of the business folks.
I find that quote interesting because it really does one thing: It means Theus is not doing the tell all I was hoping for at 4pm. Peachosaurus Rex would be fuming if he found out he got scooped by Ailene “I am woman hear me roar” Voisin.

Pretty classy
by Theus. With everything he went through, and some of brought on by himself, he could have said a whole lot more. Having said that he can’t really say anything because he would never get a job again if he just came out and blasted everyone.
I hope he does well and bounces back somewhere successfully.
when will the Kenny Thomas Reign of Terror end?!!??

I don't think I can recall
a more poorly researched article by an alledgedly professional writer. Apparently the Kings skipped straight from Adelman to Theus and started the season with two blowout losses, which isn’t exactly how I remember it.

After reading it
I’m not convinced he is either.

College or NBA
I think that Theus should go back to College coaching. Players in college will appreciate him more and value his experience. As for the NBA for Theus, maybe with a little more experience and a couple more years, I wouldn’t be surprised if you see Theus coaching an NBA team.
