Game #29: Kings at Spurs
Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs, Dec 22, 2008 5:30 PM PST
Is this Game #29? I have lost track. Or maybe there is no that. THINK ABOUT THAT. THERE MIGHT NOT BE A TRACK.
Air your grievances. Let's go Kings.

Go Kings!
Air your grievances.
No complaints here. I’m happy with the changes post-Theus.

Yahoo's box score shows BJax as starting
Beno is inactive. Not sure if that’s accurate or not though.

Nope sorry
Beno is not inactive. Just shown as a reserve.

Last 3 games, against excellent teams, we've jumped out to early lead.
Hope this one sticks, although I’d say this one is the least likely to.
Those are the times when we need to foul them hard
Transition drive by Parker. No wonder people say we’re soft
Spurs can start missing any time now, please

And that's why he's a great coach
He’s probably getting all over his players right now. No stars for Pops… just players
Matt Bonner gets that call???

I loathe Ginobilli, since when did European soccer invade the NBA.

This is shaping up
to be a game that’s gonna piss me off. Even with all the losing I haven’t had one of those yet
Hang on to the ball please

Hard not to?
I mean, your rookie, your rookie who was “picked too high” making good on his promise by going at one of the all time greats? I mean, what’s to hate about that?

They're working the inside/outside game a bit
But I think I’d rather see some less outside shooting and some more work in the paint.
Mikki!
that was nice

You gotta acknowledge a nice play when it happens
doesn’t mean I want to see him play more, or even as much as he has been.

The ironic thing is Beagle
He’s better at shooting 17 footers than he is at layups. For a 7 footer, that’s really, umm, something.

Terrible D is the real culprit here.
Our offense has been bad, but our D has been worse. The spurs are doing whatever they want. Of course, as I type this, back to back turnovers.
Spurs have stopped turning it over
and we haven’t, thus the lead is growing

Just give the ball to John every possesion.
He seems to be the only one with a good idea on the offensive end.
Irony

Spencer is struggling playing with Miller
is it just me or is this obvious?
I would like to see a switch up and play Spence with JT or put JT in with Miller to start the 3rd
he's just struggling period

Its one thing that all these teams we're playing are actually better than us
which they are, but the officiating discrepency in the past few games has been disheartening.

Spence posting up on Finley
Beno looks at him and passes it to Brad, Brad looks at him and passes it to Beno. Spence gives up and Beno drives.
Spencer is going to stop fighting for inside position if they don't start passing to him.
It seems like the only time he gets the ball is when he’s 10 ft from the paint. And, by the time he backs his man down low the double teams gets there.

Because management is trying to keep his trading value high enough to get the value they want
That’s the only reason I can think of.

honestly
that was really good defense by Mikki

3 fouls on Duncan not called
for brad -thats why!
He let a few go

Start of the 4th quarter and all I can think:
“Toronto has been playing pretty crummy lately, I bet we have a decent shot against them on Friday.”
We can only hope
We have the Raptors, Celts, and Clippers I believe. Obvious which ones we have to get
To be fair
He played OK defense on Parker. Gave up some bad lay-ups on one hand, but got some nice steals on the other.
Beno played well
5 steals, caused parker a lot of problems

You just wonder where that aggressive penetration was during the second or the third
When it would have done some more good.
Why is Brad still on the floor?
I like the guy more than most here, but there’s no reason at this point.
I hope not
I hate it when the Kings win games on a consistent basis.

Please don't trade John
Unless you can get an All-star in return. Hes our only good player in uniform, and the only real reason to watch this train wreck of a season thus far.

Ever notice
how the Kings always suck in the 3rd quarter?
Unless they've already had a 1st Quarter Collapse.

Oh yeah. VALUE THE GODDAMN BALL!!!
That Was Fun
If this happens at home vs. Toronto, I will be seriously pissed

OMFG !!
This team really does suck. I guess my ban on apperances at the Gas Pump will go unlifted. Besides, I can watch the Kings lose from the confort of my beaten down couch. I watch it in SD and not HD because I actually dont want to see it very clearly.. hurts the eyes you know…it’s like watching a disaster in hd… well, here’s pulling for a top 5 draft pick !!
