Baron Davis reportedly wants to kick rocks out of LA and return to Golden State (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3800307). He denies the rumors in the article but his relationship, or complete lack thereof, with Dunleavy has been covered extensively in the LA papers and by Bill Simmons:
Maybe that's why, within five games, poor Baron was regarding you with the same contempt that somebody's wife would have if their husband showed up at 7 in the morning reeking of booze and cigarettes and wearing the previous day's clothes. He couldn't be more bummed out. It's not possible.
Who knows how they feel now but Golden State wasn't exactly pleased with Monta Ellis this past offseason. So is there a way for the Kings to sneak in and steal Monta away?
Kings get Monta. Warriors get Davis. Clips get Beno (Dunleavy liked him before Baron became available), Salmons, and Shelden. Obviously the potential hold-up here is the Clippers. When right, Baron is a top five point guard. Do they really want to give that up for improved chemistry? I'm not sure...but I do know you can never be surprised by what the Clippers do.
If the Kings made a move like this, they'd have to get a Doug Christie clone in the backcourt. Someone with a defensive-minded approach who thinks pass before shoot. Someone who would help blend the talents of Monta and Martin. I like the sound of that...Monta and Martin.
