Brad and Hedo: Players of the Week

The headline says it all. With Brad's two double-doubles animal style (coming against respectful rebounders Ben Wallace and Tyson Chandler to boot), he earned himself the Player of the Week award. It's been a while since a King has received that honor. I think the last time was K-Mart sometime last year. (Yep. -TZ) Who would have thought Ex-King Hedo would come out and play like he has this season? Incredible. I'm very happy for him.

The NBA, where unexpected career revivals happen.

Yay for Brad!
A richly deserved pat on the back.

Way to go, big guy!

Good and Gooder
I'm sure Napear will be distracted by the Giants anyway. More interesting, Hedo was the centerpiece of the Miller trade. It is certainly exciting to see him succeed but it's additionally comforting that, in a trade made at the time to keep us contending, Miller is, 5 years later, still relevant.

Excellent.
It's nice to see our players motivated to excel personally and wanting to win. This is the Brad that inspired me to buy my first jersey in years.

Uhhm
Brad Miller is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game after receiving nine stitches in his right index finger on Sunday night.

Miller says he cut himself while washing dishes after his Super Bowl party. This is bad news, as Miller was one of the hottest players in the league. We have no feel for whether he will play against the Sonics on Wednesday, but at least the injury will have a couple days to heal.

>.<

With his money -

We AAALLLLLLLL know
He just did something stupid while he was drunk.  Of course, I pass no judgement.  I mean 9(!) stitches for a finger grazing a knife while doing dishes, please.  You know he cut himself breaking a beer bottle over someones head.
Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

Maybe -
He was trying to garrote a squirrel that had wandered into the house and his finger got caught in the wire. I'm betting Hedo didn't give the Magic bloggers this kind of stuff to write about.

Hahahahaha,,,,
Important superbowl party keyword: plastic.

No washing necessary.

Though, not worth attacking the environment to save some laziness.

Congrats to Brad
Well deserved.  When you out rebound Ben Wallace's ass all over the court and your name is Brad Miller, well you're definitely earning your $10 million this year.
