LOL
This is proof that y'all should probably ignore anything I say on this site.  I thought the guy was a good hire by the Kings - he's clearly a tool.

I seem to remember you arguing
about alot of things up until his firing. Some of the, uhh, highlights:

  • mediocre roster (check)
  • Questionable decision making by management such as Geoff Petrie (check)

Those are probably the best two I can remember off the top of my head. A lot has happened since. It's a matter of interpretation as to whether it's good or bad isn't it?

Indeed
To come to my own defense, some of it was relief at finally not having to look at Adelman's whiny face during the games and hearing his whiny voice during interviews.

Wait, I'm not sure that's a defense of myself...but whatever.  I was wrong, I was waaaay wrong.  But I still don't think I was wrong about Adelman.  :)

I'm sure we can agree on this
Does anybody else find it annoying that "Lakers playoff tix" are being sold on a Kings website? And it's not like on the main page. It's only where you post comments.

HELL YES!!! But...
Isn't even more annoying to see advertisements for Laker playoff tickets in the sidebar of this very site!?!

(I mean no harm to TZ or any of StR's sponsor's.  However, seeing that really pisses me off)

Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

ok, who really did this?
There's no way this is real. No way. That's quite possibly the funniest thing I've read since, ok, since TZ interviewed Peaches, but still, damn.

It reads like a freaking parody. He lists what he's been up to the past couple of months. Wayyyy more specifically than needed. "1-2-08 Worked with LaJolla HS on offensive concepts (Pick and Roll, spacing)." Is there any chance Gary St. Jean would do this with my little bro's high school team?

Or more importantly, my birthday's coming up in a few weeks, I wonder if I can hire Muss for my party. Apparently he needs the work.

I'm Grant Napear's favorite fan.

I wonder what not coaching is worse than. I guess with his tidy severance check it could be worse.

Worse than not coaching?
For EMuss, it must be being an egotist with no imagination and having nothing but his own thoughts going 'round in his tiny head day after day.

Meh.
I didn't think it was terribly informative or that funny.  I actually felt bad for the guy for about a minute and then I realized that he never has to work again and that ended that.

isn't that the best part of it?
I thought the awesome part was that it was so incredibly sad. "Hey look, bad coaches can be good coaches too!" I just imagine him with that same sad resigned look on his face that he had for the second half of last season. The look where you know he's thinking, "man, I don't think Mike was paying attention to my powerpoint presentation. You know what? I know how to reach them, I'll go where they want to be, Rick's Showgirls. I better go get my birth certificate so they don't think I have a fake ID"
