Playoffs Pick'em Bracket
BallHype's Playoffs Pick'em Bracket is ready to go, with the prize of a new iPod touch awaiting the victor. The person who wins BallHype's Sactown Royalty group will win a (to-be-designed) Sactown Royalty t-shirt or a pair of cheap seats tickets to a weekend game next season. So, um, sign up for BallHype (if you haven't already), join the StR group (if you haven't already), and pick your winners. Deadline's Saturday at 9 am Pacific.
UPDATE: Oh yeah I did this, too.

Hopefully my luck turns around.
Coupled with my disastrous picks for the NCAA, someone decided to steal my peaches shirt off my door stop before I could get home to get it, although my hunch is the UPS guy, as its a very yuppy neighborhood I sent the shirt too, and have had very expensive electronics stay there for over a day.
Lets turn this karma ship around!
Does anyone know where Peaches was on the day of the alleged theft?
God bless you, Corliss. You always played as though you knew how expensive my tickets were. -section214

My picks
I only went against the grain on one series – I picked Dallas to beat New Orleans. What if EVERYONE (except me) is right?

This is soooo hard
The PHX-SA matchup is really a nightmare for picking. Whoever wins that matchup is likely to make the WCF and, I think, has a very decent shot at making it out of the West. I find it hard to pick against the Spurs but they have looked piss-poor as of late. I just am sticking to the alternate years rule for SA and picking the Suns in 6. If Shaq comes to play then the Suns should coast. The Spurs aren’t big enough to contend with the Diesel and Amare. Tony Parker will crush Steve Nash, he has no chance to gaurd him. Stevie’s only hope is to try to match Parker’s production, a tall order for the former MVP.
With Dirk’s injury I do not like Dallas this year. If that team was healthy I would pick them to upset the Hornets, but not this year. Chris Paul should be able to abuse Jason Kidd and if Peja forgets that this is the playoffs and plays like the regular season they should win fairly handily. Don’t sleep on the NOOCH (i just like the acronym) they very well could make it to the WCF and beyond.
The Lakers will choke (please please please)!
