Artest sits courtside near Nuggets bench.
I thought this, which came from the recap of the Lakers-Nuggets game, was interesting:
"(Artest was sitting on the baseline near the Nuggets' bench Sunday. He said he still hasn't decided whether or not to opt out of his contract -- "My agent doesn't want me to," he said -- and not to read anything into his proximity to the Nuggets)."
My agent doesn't want me to???? I'm sure we can all fill in the sentence that follows that..."But I want to!" Gotta love this dude.

Oh Ron
Your agent sounds pretty smart Ron. Luckily we all know his opinion has no bearing on your actual opinion. Opt out Ron, opt out.

But he can't opt out
We’ll have nobody to “throw the ball to.”

I'm torn
If he opts out, he walks for nothing but cap space. But if he doesn’t, we can trade him.
Isiah’s gone (or rather still with the organization but without an official title, reporting to Walsh, but with nobody reporting to him). Maybe we have a shot at David Lee?

I'm not torn at all
I could care less if Ron walks. The Kings had a “chance” to get something for Ron, and Petrie deemed it unworthy. This debacle isn’t Bay of the Pigs, but it’s a basketball equivalent.
We could build ping-pong ball shrines and make sacrifices at them, like broken ping-pong paddles, or burning Peaches in effigy--LPA
