Really cool look into all of the effort and work Mikki has put in to become a starter in the NBA. Really great stuff.

He's dunking on Kenny Thomas. LOL

No he's not
He's dunking while Kenny Thomas stands still thinking "so THAT'S what you do with the ball!"

Great Video
I gave Mikki a "C" and here's why - He is an "A" coming off the bench, but as a starter he's a "D."

I'm not slamming Mikki here. I think that he is a great guy to have on your team in the proper role.

But since I'd rather have Garnett, Nowitzki, Bosh, Boozer, Gasol, Jamison, West, Marion, Josh Smith, Aldridge, Lee, R.Wallace, Okafor, Scola...you get the idea...I just don't think that Mikki is a starting power forward. That said, he has done yeoman's work for the Kings this year.

B
I gave him a B just because he's exceeded my expectations. He really should not be a starter in the NBA, but we don't have anyone else capable of doing it. I'd much rather have one of those bigs that Section listed, but as of now we don't. Until we get Michael Beasley, we'll have to take Moore. But, he definitely deserves a B because he's playing far better than anybody thought he would.

Now that C-Webb has retired,
maybe we can get him to donate his great hands to Mikki. Lord, if Mikki had Webb's hands...

He woulda been drafted in the 1st round
if that was the case.

Actually, that brings up a good question
Can C-Webb coach?

Can you imagine Reggie Theus and Chris Webber on the sidelines? It'd be too much sexy for the Kings to not get massive air time.

I hope not
I don't need to hear every wannabe-comedian basketball analyst say, "Well, they better not put him in charge of keeping track of the timeouts. Ha-ha-ha!" It will happen and when it does I will just freakin' lose it.

I'm not sure,
but I don't think CWebb can.  He might become an assistant coach, but I don't see him as a future head coach in the NBA.

Don't most/all assistants dream of a future head coaching gig?

But that's just my initial response to your question. He doesn't strike me as coaching material.  Vlade, yes.  CWebb, no.

I guess I'm not willing to spend anything other than a knee-jerk response on your question right now.

No disrespect intended, iashwash.

Don't you mean 2 peso's?

Great video
That video was excellent, and I'm giving Mikki extra second kudos for the outstanding game he played last night.

I think he's earned a 'B'
Lets face it, he is a B-/C+ talent, but his effort, enthusiasm and (oh no!) intangibles make him a solid B.
Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

I can't Help but
be proud of Mikki. He's worked so hard all of his career to get where he is and is showing that last year was no fluke and that he was a very capable NBA player all along.

His journey is one that shows where hard work does pay off and you gotta believe. There are only 30 all stars in the NBA and for Moore to get where he is a marvelous story.

I want to take this time and say Mikki should be very proud of what he has done this year and I hope to see Mikki as a productive member of any future Kings teams.

Mikki is really an everyman story,
a la Paul Shirley...

but with better skills.

It's so great to read about these guys who make it into the NBA just on their hustle factor.

They have heart and desire, something I think we'd all like to see every superstar have.

Some guys make the league because they have huge hearts, some guys make the league on sheer talent.  We'd all be happier fans if the huge hearts and big talent collided more often.
