Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

TZ vs Peaches Continued

I was struck, as I always am, by Grant Napear's outlandish evaluation of his own importance and his total dismissal of the ability of a fan to understand the team or the game in general. I can't recall his ever providing me with statistical information that I was incapable of finding and judging for myself and whatever newsworthy items his access to the team might provide him are overshadowed by his negative and condescending attitude. It's too bad he doesn't read blogs though because, in the interest of of total irrelevancy, I decided to let the internet decide who was more worthy of our adoration.

Looks as if Peaches still has quite a way to go before he reaches TZ's level of distribution.

Incorrect
That google search will include all the people named Tom, and all the people named Ziller, as opposed to just those named Grant or Napear.

Searching "Tom Ziller" compared to "Grant Napear" full name against fullname, TZ leads 9,560 to 2,200. Still a sound thrashing, I do say.

The initials TZ? 41,800,000.

Boom shack-a-lacka.

Yeah, but
Grant's 2,710 hits are all close, personal friends (just ask him!).

Actually, he has a trained monkey do it for him.

Haha!
That's hilarious.

Even funnier?  Koz beats Peaches too. Ditto for Gary Gerould, Carmichael Dave, Jerry Reynolds and Angela Tsai.

God bless you, Corliss. You always played as though you knew how expensive my tickets were. -section214

Also
There's no way in heck that first graph is to scale. The Grant Napear column should be muuuuch smaller.

Google Numbers
Grant isn't a comment name, nor is Napear.

If his name was Tom Jones, his Google numbers would be off the charts, because they would count every page that had Tom and every page that had Jones, whether or not it had anything to do with Tom Jones aka Grant Napear.

It's the same thing with Ziller. Click the 10th or 20th page, and pretty soon valid results that actually link to something regarding TZ disappear.

This diary...
...was just pointless fun. I wasn't attempting to suggest that the googlefight was in any way significant.
