Dalt
(P.S. I'm not picking on you Dalt. I'm just wondering if somebody can explain to how keeping Artest makes sense for even next season. Screw the long term.)

Cause Ron Artest is in the news more than
It's simple, really. It's all about increasing the Kings.com page ranking.

Err
I think without Artest next year, Martin score 26+ regardless.

30...
- C-Webb inside, defense on him, Kevin free outside (along with a good distributor of the ball - Beno)
- C-Webb in the post, defense on him, Kevin cutting inside

At least
But I think Martin will only average 30+ per game if he is willing to shoot more and/or doesn't have a teammate who thinks he's the guy who should be taking 20 shots a night.

I agree
Joe Johnson: 18.4 shots per game, 21.8 ppg.
Kobe Bryant: 20.8 spg, 28.6 ppg (wow! Who would guess that Kobe shoots THAT much!?!? Don't everyone injure themselves raising their arms so fast...)
Ray Allen: 13.9 spg, 18 ppg
Dwyane Wade: 18.4 spg, 24.6 ppg
Tracy McGrady: 19.9 spg, 21.9 ppg
Michael Redd: 17.6 spg, 23.3 ppg
Vince Carter: 17.2 spg, 21.6 ppg
Jason Richardson: 17.8 spg, 21.3 ppg
Jamal Crawford: 17.7 spg, 20.8 ppg
Kevin Durant: 16.9 spg, 20 ppg (he mostly plays SG)
Manu Ginobili: 13.4 spg, 19.8 ppg
Brandon Roy: 16.1 spg, 19.3 ppg
Richard Hamilton: 14.5 spg, 17.7 ppg
Anyway, as you can see, many of these guys are shooting at or near 18 shots per game. Only Ray Allen, Rip and Manu shoot much lower and that's basically because they are not the focal point on offense. If Martin becomes the "main man" for the Kings (which I pray he does) and he keeps on improving, he could be able to reach 30+ ppg at around 17-19 spg.
