The Glue
Brad was the glue that held the team together this season, and helped them to be far more competitive than they should have been with injuries to almost everyone else.  Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and another great year in 2009.

Oh Come ON!
Brad: You can't finish out the season!?!? Less than 10 games to go! You miss a dunk and hide away for the rest of the season?? Puhleeze!!!!!

Just kidding. Let's hope he can come back next year in even better shape and take this team higher.

Now for tonight, let's see some Sheldon do his C-Webb impersonation. Get it in the post, face up and shoot. Now if only he can learn to pass like Webber...

He can shoot, and he looks great in a suit. Hey, everybody - It's REGGIE TIME!

Great For Spence
Spence is going benefit greatly from these increased minutes and starts.  This is going to carry into the off-season, where hopefully he starts to work harder on the defensive end and rebounding, and into next year.  Thanks for the great year Miller.
when will the Kenny Thomas Reign of Terror end?!!??

Good for everybody
Brad had a great, great year, and you have to wonder how long he's been playing with a broken arm and leg.  He earned this little bit of time off after this season.  The real question is whether he keeps it up again in the offseason.  I certainly hope so, because he was a different player this year.
This is great for Spencer and Shelden.  They need the playing time and these games don't count.  I'm excited to see what these guys can do.

Yeah,,,
Brad was my replacement for Yao. I needed to fill my injury prone center having a career season because he hasn't gotten injured yet requirement.

At least I'd rather lose because of injury than because of a tanktastic fantasy playoffs.

I'm Grant Napear's favorite fan.

Maybe Ron Artest's career can end too
On the other hand this is good for Hawes. It's also good for Petrie (assuming he uses it to his advantage) and Theus to see a glimpse of how to direct Hawes in the off-season. Young players need guidance, and more appropriately, they need a franchise helping hand in getting there. Some of it is on the young player's ethic, but some of it is on the franchise to provide leadership. I would like to see the Kings roll the dice one more year with Douby, but that's a personal opinion. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs.

As far as Brad Miller (yes I read his season is over) this is a big deal why?

Agreed
About Quincy.  We have to keep him for one more year to see if he can grow.  Last night he looked good on the offensive end, showing shades of Monta.  On the defensive end, I don't think he's as bad as everyone believes.  His long arms (as Jerry Reynolds so astutely points out every five seconds Q is in the game) are disruptive and his quickness on the offensive end should translate to the defensive, with some work in the off-season.

The problems with Quincy
are also problems with Garcia and Martin. None of those guys can run the team without a PG in the game.

C'mon now...
Unlike Martin, however, the Q can't make things happen for himself without a PG.

wtf?
Your point: Kev, Cisco and Doubster no create team offense without PG.

Ogre's point: Douby create no offense if no pg in game, never. Martin create own offense.

Tarzan confused. Tarzan no figure korerelashun. Tarzan no have Jane in pretty dress, she tell him what to think.

Understand ogre distinction. Methinks valid point. Douby needs setup. But Martin need setup too (Bradbaby... influence, so big, hands... so soft). But Douby not as good without ball (younger).

You mean Douby = Martin ( divide by talent factor and height), and that be that? Douby no = PG. Douby = Monta?

Tarzan head hurt. Tarzan need temple massage from Jane. Tarzan go find Jane.

Off Topic
When I took my little girl to Disneyland last year, she got Jane to take a picture with her and sign her autograph book. Jane was STACKED. So was one of the Snow White's we ran into.

So my vacation dollars will be going into the Walt Disney Co.'s pockets again very soon.

I guess SoCal has some upside
Most of the characters at Disneyland are coeds from USC/UCLA, who happen to be smokin' hot.  That happens to be one of the only "bonuses" of living down here.  The hot chick population is dispropotionately high.  Cheers!
Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal
