Bevy of Ron Artest Material

As Amick has noted, Ron Artest has been all over Carmichael Dave's late-night show the past week. This page has all the audio, some of which is the typical hilariously awkward Ron type of stuff, and some of which is just hilarious. It's a lot for folks to go through, so if you have any particularly favorite clips, mention them in the comments here.

Big ups to Dave and the folks at KHTK for putting all this online. Stellar use of bandwidth.

Listen to the whole thing

I listened to the first interview under “Sound Bytes 1” last week and it was funny as hell. Everyone’s best bet is to just d/l the whole interview. Ron candid on the radio is just too god damned funny not to listen to the whole thing.

Although, if you don't have time

Check out Ron’s interview with Spencer. They talk about the worst dressed Kings players, Spencer being Brad’s bitch, and Ron talking about interviewing the guy who threw the beer at him in Detroit. Classic stuff.

I listened to the whole thing

and it was well worth the listen. That man is crazy, in a great way. He has to be the most humble professional athlete ive ever heard speak before..

2 favorite parts of the segment were;

- During his interview with Spencer Hawes, in which he was giving the former rook a hard time. Spencer wasnt lying down easily and kept coming back at Ron. Finally, around 11 at night, Ron told the youngster to stop watching “Blues Clues” and go get some sleep. then followed by, “Dave, you know the youngeter is only 19, right?”..Classic

- Another one of my favorite moments came when Ron was explaining his love for Celine Dion. Especially when he said he used to roll around town bumping the Titanic album full blast . Imagine pulling up to him at a stop sign with that shit goin on. Priceless!

Really fun!

Spencer and Ron interview was by far the best. I loved it.

Listen to them all, it will not disappoint

The Shawes interview was great but I liked Ron’s comments regarding Beno. “Beno the Grouch shivering in the garbage begging for a job.” Good Lord is that hilarious.

Ron seems to be amping his media presence lately. Maybe he wants the world to know he’s a nice guy and not the lunatic most (including here) make him out to be. Definetly pining for a big contract, IMO.

Easy Way?

Is there an easy way to download all of this, or do I have to click on each individual “download” link and get it piece by piece?

I saw the “podcast” links, but couldn’t get them to do anything of value for me, and a quick search on iTunes came up blank as well. I’m affraid laziness is trumping curiosity once again.

Any suggestions?
