Rob-214, Paul-106 Advance!
All hail the power of Sactown Royalty. Thanks to your incredible voting efforts, Rob-214 and Paul-106 have advanced to the finals of the luckiest Kings fan.
The final drawing will be held on Sunday, May 11, at Chris Webber's Center Court Restaurant. KXTV 10 will be broadcasting live from 3-3:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend the festivities.
Regardless of the outcome, I want to thank all of you that helped get Paul and me to this point. However, now that I no longer need your votes I will go back to being the disagreeable jerk that I was before this whole thing started. So long, suckers!
Hi, I'm Rob-214 and I approved of this ad.

playoff thread
I’m watching the cavs-celtics game and lebron is terrible. In no way am I trying to compare the two, but if the cavs had k-mart for this one game (and maybe game1) they would be in the game if not winning it. Lebron can’t even hit open jumpers let alone make the tough shots he normally hits. Kevin would hit the open look, the drives to the bucket and the tough shot off the dribble. I would take lebron over kevin in a heartbeat, but we don’t have it too bad right now.
when will the Kenny Thomas Reign of Terror end?!!??

I'm thinking about going too
Although that whole Mother’s day thing might get in the way. Free barbecue or be part of the “Peaches Posse” at C-Webb’s. Hmmmm

Simple!
Take your mother to lunch at Centre Court on Sunday (her MD gift should be her very own Peaches T if you can still find a way to purchase one!).

Hahahaha
Yeah right, my mom goes to be at like 7:30 every night, regardless of when she has to wake up the next day. I don’t think she’s seen a Kings game since NBC used to do weekly triple headers. Oh teh good ol’ days when nationally broadcast NBA games were actually good.

Solution for your mom
Convince her that I’m Andy Griffith and tell her you’re taking her to a “Matlock” retrospective.

Haha!
Only because I know that neither of you mean it.
Seriously, don’t make me break out the $98M contract the Kings will offer Artest if you truly believe this.
Or that mortgage banks deserve to be bailed out at the taxpayers expense.
*Disclaimer: I do not believe Ron-Ron is a bad person or that mortgage bankers are bad people…inherently. I simply believe they should be held responsible for their past actions.

I just hope
that Section’s been making regular sacrifices at his ping pong ball shrine. So sweet if they bounce our way.
And while I’m making grossly improbable wishes, I wish K9 would request a buyout and that SAR would take medical retirement, that the Maloofs would build a state-of-the-art arena downtown using only private funds, and that Theus would sit sideline at least once next season wearing slightly wrinkled slacks and a shirt and tie that don’t match.
Hey, a girl can dream, can’t she?

Quick thought
Am I the only one kind of proud that the Kings had the foresight to know we’d try and stuff the ballot box so they made the finals a random drawing? Sure, it ruined our carefully laid plans, but at least they know what we’re capable of.

The good guys lost
Someone needs to check for David Sterns fingerprints on the ballot because Rob and Paul didn’t win the contest. FIX!

Some lady with some freakin autographs won!
Ooh, she has shit signed by Shaq and Jordan. Doesn’t the Shaq signature automatically disqualify her? Isn’t that a bad luck omen? How does that make her luckier than the dude with the hot wife who makes him a ton of money? Running into someone famous and convincing them to sign something does not make you lucky. Being some goofy shmuck who is second in command on a freakin’ blog that convinced a beautiful woman to be his sugar mama for the rest of her life is definitely lucky.
However, it’s not too late to start a smear campaign. We could get those raunchy Kings’ dancer pics and photoshop Margie’s head onto ‘em.

this was a rigged promotion, so Maloof!!
did anyone really believe they were going to win and did anyone other than this lady really and truly want to accompany ESPN and a Maloof to NYC? Who does she work for Comcast, ESPN, PLayboy, the Palms or the beer distribution outfit?

Tough break
You are now the Rick Adelman of Kings fans…close to the promised land, but couldn’t close the deal.
J/K, sorry you didn’t make it to the Big Apple section. This was good entertainment time-filler for us Kings fans.
