Is augustin really that good?

As beno’s agent has pretty much let us know that he won’t be returning, I wonder if this will change our draft strategy at all.

Ugh

Well, it’s not like the Kings had any opportunity at all to acquire extra picks that might have given let them trade up. Someone go kick Geoff Petrie’s chair.

I hope it happens!

Enough PG talk. I say resign AJ for one season at the veteran minimum, and wait until next off season. It’s not like the Kings would win anymore games with Augustin. I say the Kings should draft another Gerald Wallace, work with him for a few years and right when he starts getting good, trade him.

Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Good one…sign Anthony Johnson…hilarious…oh, you’re serious?!?

If Nate MacMillan and Kevin Pritchard are that hot for Augustin I think that’s telling. A pass first, lightning quick point guard that couldn’t possibly be any worse on defense than Bibby or Beno.

Bad defense

You know – it occurs to me that the Kings have had some pretty horrible defensive point guards. Jason Williams was the worst defensive player in the NBA while he was with the Kings. Mike Bibby was only slightly better. Beno is a little better than Bibby. It would be interesting to start a point guard who can actually play defense.

No, no, no

Don’t trade the new G-Dub. That would bring something in return. Just let him go to the new Seattle expansion franchise.
