The Spurs sent an e-mail to every team in the league at 3:30 p.m. saying that they were willing to move the 26th pick. The e-mail asked league executives to "E-mail us your interest and your offers to 26."

Too bad
Petrie hasn’t learned how to use email yet. :(

Our best
The 42 and 43 for the 26?
The 43 and some Isleton crawfish?

I mentioned on another thread
But possibly we could get that No. 26 and package it with Salmons to move up to 10-20.

Send them our two 2nd rounders?
Seems like that could get it done.
I don't think
that the Spurs are going to want to take on any salary. That’s my guess as to why they are dealing the pick.

Right...
And 2nd round picks could net them euros they can stash overseas, which they’ve done multiple times already.
I'm surprised...
That Pritchard hasn’t already purchased the pick. Maybe they don’t want cash…
The Ghost of Big Shot Bob
will be haunting us for years…nothing good can come of this…

Totally Unrelated
I actually saw Big Shot in Vegas on Friday night playing the $25 tables at Planet Hollywood (Guess times are tough) and he did not take kindly to some Donaghy questions…

Petrie, DO SOMETHING!
Not another draft night of pure idleness from him.. I’m almost convinced that he’s going to just let every single steal slip by. He should package our 2 second rounders, along with Salmons and/or Douby for the Spurs’ pick…whatever they want, since the Spurs seem content in giving up their pick for practically nothing.
The whole
point of them offering the #26 pick is that they don’t want to take on the cash for what’s available and what might be available is Ryan Anderson, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Nicolas Batum. I’m going to make a crazy assumption that the Spurs don’t want Douby over any of those and probably don’t want Salmon’s salary even though its decent. Now the 2nd round picks might come in handy because they’re not guaranteed dough.

Yes!
It will take 2nd round picks that they can use for stashing Euro’s (darknight I believe pointed that out earlier) or cash. I don’t think they want cotract.
