David Thorpe on Singletary
David Thorpe takes a look at the top rookies in Vegas and Orlando. Nice review for Singletary:
One of the better point guard performances I've seen this summer. He's got speed and handle to get wherever he wants, but unlike most PGs trying to make a statement in the summer, he always looked for a teammate first.
Refreshing to finally have some speed from the point guard spot. JT gets some love too. See the whole article here.

He wasn't perfect
But it seems to me that the attempt by Person is to establish a chemistry between Douby and Singletary in offensive/defensive roles so that Theus is comfortable playing them together off the bench during the regular season. With Cisko Shelden and JT that could be fun 2nd unit to watch all season.

Maybe it's time to deal Smokey the Hunter

any idea
what we could get for B-Rad (Malibu’s most wanted)?

Expiring contract?
I really can’t imagine us getting much more than that. He’s due $23.6 million over the next two years and he’s probably worth $16 million over that period, tops.

Agreed...
we would have to hope a contender, in desperate need of a center, is willing to take on his deal and give us an expiring contract (or perhaps one expiring and one the same length).
That might be more realistic cabz
to get a contract that’s expiring and one that is the same length as B-Rad’s. (Great nickname IMO.)
