He's the Oil Baron version of David Stern

A complete schutzpah. (Or however you spell it.)

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on

Yiddish 101

Chutzpah = nerve

You may want to choose “schmuck” or “putz,” both of which basically mean “dick.”

Yiddish fun fact – anyone remember Lily Von Shtupp from Blazin Saddles. Shtupp is also yiddish. It means f*ck.

Class dismissed…now get out of here, you little mamsers (bastards).

I never did know that

Blazing Saddles remains to be Mel Brooks finest work (other than his long marriage to Anne Bancroft), and is the greatest black comedy of all time. (Lily von Shtupp was a classic character, and a Yiddish pun apparently.)

Funny, she didn't look Druish

Ironically, TZ’s post reminded me of Dark Helmet talking to Colonel Sandurz….

Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
Colonel Sandurz: Now. You’re looking at now sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
DH: What happened to then?
CS: We passed then.
DH: When?
CS: Just now. We’re at now, now.
DH: Go back to then!
CS: When?
DH: Now.
CS: Now?
DH: Now!
CS: I can’t.
DH: Why?
CS: We missed it.
DH: When?
CS: Just now.
DH: When will then be now?
CS: Soon.
