I've been hearing his name flying out there. I'm not sure when he's eligible to come out for the draft or if he's even going to ever want to play for us dollars, but I saw this video of him and other ones on youtube and this 17 year old looks like the real deal. Here's the article on yahoo.

He’s a pretty popular prospect, and has been mentioned here a few times. He’s a top-3 pick next season as of now, and it’s widely expected he’ll make the jump to the NBA.

I wonder if there is any wide spread news on his contract with his team in Spain

That I suspecct would be the biggest derailment towards him coming over next season I imagine.

re: Ricky Rubio

I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago (“The Now & Future Kings”) where I imagined Petrie taking Ricky Rubio with the team’s first round pick next year (which I assume will be a Top 3 selection).

The highlight stuff of him on youtube is pretty crazy… talk about a “pure” point guard. Plays with amazing flair and he really is just a kid.
